Privacy Policy
Last updated: [insert date]
Short version: this site runs on WordPress with Google-based analytics and ad tools, doesn’t sell your personal data, and you can always ask what’s held about you by emailing support@aipersonalization.cloud. The long version, in plain language, is below.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to aipersonalization.cloud (the “site”), operated by Tom Morgan. It explains what information gets collected when you read, comment, or subscribe here, and what happens to it.
What gets collected — and how
- Analytics. This site uses Google-based tools (via Site Kit) to see aggregate traffic — which articles get read, roughly where visitors come from, general device/browser info. This is standard web analytics, not individual tracking I look at by name.
- Advertising. The site runs Google AdSense, which may use cookies to show ads based on your browsing. Google, not this site, controls how that targeting works — see Google’s own privacy policy for the details of what they do with it.
- Comments. If you leave a comment, WordPress stores the name, email, and website you enter, plus your IP address, to help detect spam. Gravatar may check your email against its service to display an avatar — that check happens on Gravatar’s end, not this site’s.
- Newsletter. If you sign up, your email address is stored with the email service provider used to send it, solely to send you new posts and occasional updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Contact. If you email support@aipersonalization.cloud, that message and your address are kept as long as needed to handle the conversation — not added to any marketing list unless you separately opt in.
Cookies
Cookies here mostly come from the analytics and advertising tools above, not from anything built in-house. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies at any time; doing so may affect how ads are targeted but won’t stop you from reading the site.
What this site does not do
This site doesn’t sell personal data, and doesn’t share it with third parties beyond the analytics, advertising, comment, and email-delivery tools named above — each of which has its own privacy policy governing how they handle it.
Your choices
Depending on where you’re located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data held about you, or to object to how it’s used — for example under GDPR in the EU/UK or CCPA in California. To ask about any of this, email support@aipersonalization.cloud with what you’re looking for, and I’ll respond directly rather than through an automated system.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and doesn’t knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters — new tools, new data uses — the “last updated” date at the top will change, and significant changes will be noted here rather than buried in a silent edit.
